Legal
Privacy notice
Inverant (“we”, “us”) operates the gnomon site atgnomon-site.web.app. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit the site, join the waitlist, or send an enterprise enquiry. It does not cover the hosted API or private deployments, which are governed by their own agreement.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, an optional note about intended use, and the time of submission.
- Enterprise enquiry: your name, work email, organisation, brief, and the time of submission.
- Technical data: our hosting and database providers may process your IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and error diagnostics to serve and protect the site.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party runtime scripts. Fonts are served from the site itself.
Why we use it
- To maintain the waitlist and contact you about access.
- To respond to enquiries and assess private deployments.
- To operate, secure, debug, and prevent abuse of the site.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms of use.
Lawful bases
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on consent for waitlist and enquiry submissions, legitimate interests for operating and securing the site and responding to business enquiries, and legal obligation where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.
Sharing
- Google Firebase provides hosting and the Realtime Database used for form submissions.
- Paddle acts as merchant of record if you purchase a paid service and processes payment data; we do not receive your card details.
- We may disclose data to professional advisers, authorities, or a successor organisation where required by law or in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Firebase services may process data in the United States and other countries. The form database is hosted in the United States (us-central1). Where required, we rely on Google’s data processing terms and appropriate transfer safeguards.
Retention
- Waitlist: until the waitlist closes or you ask to be removed, after which the entry is deleted or anonymised.
- Enquiries: normally no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a contract or legal obligation requires a longer period.
- Technical logs: retained by our providers for the period needed for security and operations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, use the Access section, choosePrivate deployment, and write “Privacy request” in the brief. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and data minimisation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is intended for adults and organisations. It is not directed to children under 16, and you should not submit a child’s personal data.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be noted on the site.
